JNEWS is the website that collects press releases from the journals managed by SISSA Medialab, the company responsible for scientific publishing and science communication at the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste. Each month we highlight selected content from papers published in these peer-reviewed journals, among the leading international titles in their respective fields.
Our press office currently supports three journals:
The Journal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics (JCAP), a leading journal in cosmology and astrophysics, jointly owned by SISSA Medialab and the Institute of Physics (IOP).
The Journal of Statistical Mechanics: Theory and Experiment (JSTAT), dedicated to the broad world of statistical physics, from the foundations of generative artificial intelligence and complexity science to biological motion and the behavior of matter. JSTAT is also jointly owned by SISSA Medialab and IOP.
The Journal of Science Communication (JCOM), a SISSA journal focused on science communication.
